In the wake of recent events including the death of most of the Silver Guard, most for the first time. Aramath has decided that the Guardsmen need to take a more preventative role in society instead of a reactive one. To facilitate this, he is forming a new chapter called Strike Force Silver which will consist of several members of the core guard with more added later. Currently the guardsmen in SFS are:

Also, in light of recent events that Mace is one of the displaced nobles of the Shieldlands, he is leaving as well. Tenuvial was discovered to be a spy for the Scarlet Brotherhood and is being detained in stasis for further questioning. Logan was discovered to be the avatar of Kelanen, the Prince of Swords. During a quest where the Druid Jet was present, he claimed the title of King of Swords and has left the mortal realm.
Aramath has reclaimed his title as Captain of the Silver Guard although Doc also has the rank of Captain. Doc defers to Aramath on most situations but has the authority and power to challenge him when he sees fit. He has gained a sense of confidence from his tenure as leader of the Guardsmen and no longer chooses to stay at home and patch them back together when they come back. He prefers a more “proactive” role nowadays by accompanying them on missions.
Several new members have joined and for the first time, there are women members. Also, the remaining fighter subclasses are represented. As usual, the new members are specialized fighters.

Valerin is an Oriental female that is trained as a Kensai. Her weapon of choice is the Sai. At her current level she is capable of multiple attacks with each weapon and can do whirlwind attacks at maximum damange.
Deedra is the younger sister of Snare and was recommended as his replacement. She is a very adequate replacement for her older brother. She has a tendency to not wear much clothing though from her time spent in the Amedio jungle.
Myra came with Valerin to deliver a message to Flamdwyn. She is an Oriental character who is a monk which is vastly different from what we expect from Western monks.
Lastly Penelope is an ex-Knight of Holy Shielding that now follows the new goddess Mayahiene. Penelope practically worships Aramath and often refers to him as a “Paladin of Neutrality”. Oddly enough, she and Logan did not get along well.
These four round out the team to be known as the Silver Guard

Last but not least a very ambitious half-elf has recently asked to be Doc’spupil. Doc is the highest ranking priest of Celestian in the Greyhawk area for quite some time. This fiesty young man is a both a Fighter & MagicUser of reasonable skill but has had considerable problems advancing as Cleric. He had a dream/vision of a falling star and that he should follow it. Casting an augury indicated to him that he should follow it and it would lead to solution to his priest advancement woes. The falling star lead him to Silver Mansion. While Doc was hesitant, Aramath encouraged it by reminding Doc of the young Elven Fighter/MagicUser named Aramis that he had taken under his wing at the urging of Doc. All Guardsmen are issues a fetish called a “shield”. The shields are small brooches approximately 3 inches in diameter and made of some sort of metal that is coated in silver. They each have a 5 pointed star engraved in their center. Each guardsman’s codename symbol is inscribed therein. The 5 points of the star are accented with crystal fragments from Brianthorn’s Retreat. Each star is linked to a summoning chamber in a special summoning room in Silver Mansion. A conduit through the Astral Plane does the actual movement.
The Silver Star has the following powers:
Phase in a suit of armor ranging from padded to full plate. This armor must be placed in a special receptacle in a special room in Silver Mansion. Only the wearer of the star can do this. Other items can be summoned as well as long as they are properly treated and placed in the summoning source chamber. Other possible items are special helms for breathing underwater.
Summon Silver Weapon
Each wearer has a special silver weapon that is his codename. The star allows the wearer to summon his weapon from the special room in silver mansion if it is present. Also, it can send it back. It takes one segment to either send or receive an item.
The star allows the wearer to communicate with all other star wearers. This is thought activated but requires spoken words to transmit.
Using a modified version of PlaneShift coupled with a Malta’s pattern transport, the star wearers are able to “move” to the special room in Silver Mansion. From this room, you can also move to any location of any star wearer. Thus the wearers are two jumps away from each other at all times. It takes 1 round for each jump.
Each star can cause the following spell effect’s:
Strength 1/day 12th level use (badge wielder only)
CLW 2/day (non-badge wearer only)
Slow Poison 1/week (non-badge wearer only)
When the wearer of the star goes below 0 hit points, he gets the benefit of a Death’s Door automagically. If the person goes below -10, then he gets to make a system shock roll. If successful, then the person’s soul is stored in the star as per an Amulet of Life Protection for up 3 days.
When not worn, each star can have the effect of a Wyvern Watch spell to protect it from use by others if the codename wearer so chooses.

Bolt – Light Crossbow of Speed
At the users will it can cause one of the bolts it fires to act as a Javelin of Lightning_ and deliver and addition 20 pts of damage
to the target with no saving throw. The item directly struct must save vs. lightning or be destroyed. The crossbow is rechargeable as a wand of lightning bolts
Flail – +3 flail of Stunning
On any natural 17-20, the opponent must save vs. pertrification or
lose initiative the next round.
Blade – Blades of the SwordMaster
This matched longsword and shortsword are enchanted so that they
share their magical bonus of +5. When the longsword is at +X, the
shortsword is at +(5-X). Even when a weapon is +5, it is still
magical and may hit creates only hit by magical weapons.
Bow – Bow of Accuracy
This bow gets more accurate at long distances, effectively
nullifying the distance modifiers. In addition, it is more
effective against short range opponents. 2/+5 at
short/medium/long range respectively
Javelin – Ring of Javelins
This ring creates non-magical javelins out of thin air that exist
for up to 3 rounds. These javelins are treated as +1 on damage
Axe – Axe of Sharpness
Similar to a Sword of Sharpness but can be made not to affect
flesh of any sort when a secret stud on the handle is pressed.
Hammer – Hammer of Pummelling.
+1 per each consecutive successive strike on an opponent. Thus, it
is easier to hit an opponent and does more damage the more times it
is used on an opponent.
Whip – Whip of Sharpness
This whip has silver strands running throughout its handle to its tip.
1/turn it can strike as a vorpal weapon. Any hit will remove a limb.
Star – Scabbard of Infinite Blades. Creates small/large throwing “darts”
Sai – +1 Sai X 2
If both “to hit” rolls succeed by 5 or greater then opponent must
make a strength check or be disarmed.
Spear – Rod of Lordly Might
Fist – Gauntlets of Martial Prowess
-2 to AC if no weapon larger than a dagger is held
+2 on openhand or closed fist attacks (brass knuckles)
Shield – +2 Shield
+4 vs. missles
Create Wall of Fire/Stone/Force/Iron (Each 1/day)
Change size at will, from Buckler to Tower shield

Staff – +3 staff-spear
Snare – Magic Lasso
Can act as a rope of climbing 3/day
Can attack as a 10HD Creature 1 Att/rnd. hit equal = lasso hit.
Can “dance” as a dancing sword for up to 20 minutes.
Sling – +2 sling w/ pouch of exploding missles
Exploding missles cause 2D6 damage in a 5’ radius. 20/day
Club – +3 club, +5 versus metal or stone objects
